The word count is a communication about the level of detail required. It would be possible to write a short statement of 80 words, or a thesis of 80 000 words, on the same topic. The word count lets you know information such as how much detail to give, how many main points and sub points to choose, and how detailed the examples should be.
Word counts the number of words in a document while you type. Word also counts pages, paragraphs, lines, and characters. Skip ahead to live broadcast. When you need to know how many words, pages, characters, paragraphs, or lines are in a document, check the status bar. For a partial word count, select the words you want to count.

Mostly the dissertation word length is between 10,000 words to 15,000 words but some may even go up to the level of 30,000 words.
A word count in Microsoft Word may differ from the word count shown in the Document Viewer of a submitted paper. It is important to note that every word processor has a different method (algorithm) for counting words. In this way, there is no 'standard' word-count method. Turnitin uses a word counting algorithm very similar to that of Microsoft Word.
The structure and breakdown of word count is as essential a dissertation as is the map or design of a building, because it provides you with the base in writing a dissertation. It is a fact that the structure for the dissertation is not the same because the word count of a dissertation may vary from subject to subject or from one university to another university.
Introduction paragraphs are usually about 5% of your essay word count. Word count is important because it influences A) the amount of time copyeditors should spend improving your manuscript, and B) the amount of time it takes JMIR staff to typeset your article. As of February 27, 2018, fees for additional editorial work may be applied to papers which are considered excessively long (over 5000 words).
